Founded on June 14, 1888, the Miamisburg High School Alumni Association is recognized as the oldest continuing high school alumni organization in the United States. Their mission is to “perpetuate and continue the friendships and memories of school life and each year to give a suitable and formal reception to the graduating class.”

On the third Saturday of June the Alumni Association holds a dinner to honor the 50th and 25th anniversary classes. The Miamisburg Viking fight song plays while the current graduating class members march in. Each honor class has a respondent who gives a speech on the class and accomplishments. They also honor graduates who are nominated for their outstanding contribution to the community, school, or lifetime achievement.

The Alumni Association president recognizes multiple generations of families who have attended Miamisburg High School. The recording secretary reads a list of deceased alumni members who have passed during the preceding year. Following closing remarks from the president, all attendees stand and sing the Alma Mater. At the dance afterward, guests meet old friends and share memories of their years at Miamisburg High School.
